Carolyn M. Apple, M.D., FACP, FACEP
A native of the Eastern Shore of Maryland, Dr. Apple grew up near Sudlersville, Maryland and started her career in the medical field in 1977 as a registered nurse in Cambridge, Maryland and then later at Johns Hopkins University Hospital. She graduated from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. in 1983 and obtained her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 1990.
In 1993 Dr. Apple completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Virginia Medical Center and then did a second residency in Emergency Medicine at the combined York Hospital/Penn State University program in York, Pennsylvania, where she served as chief resident. and Internal Medicine at Bayhealth - Kent General, in addition to Emergency Medicine in Lewes, DE, York, PA, Crisfield, MD and Chestertown, MD. With the opening of Eden Hill Medical Center, Dr. Apple assumed the position of President and Medical Director of Eden Hill Express Care, the walk-in medical care center at Eden Hill. Dr. Apple is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Emergency Physicians. She also serves on the Board of Directors of Eden Hill Medical Center. |

Robert T Chrzanowski MD FACEP
Dr. Chrzanowski was born and raised in the Delaware Valley. After graduating from Camden Catholic High School in Cherry Hill, NJ, he attended and graduated Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania in 1974. He spent his first two years of
medical school at the College
of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and then transferred to complete his medical training at Medical College of Pennsylvania. In June of 1978 he married his beautiful wife, Donna, received his medical degree and began his residency in Emergency Medicine at MCP. He completed his EM residency in 1981. Over the last five years he has also worked at walk-in medical units in Dover and Smyrna, DE. but is now happy to devote himself full-time to treating patients at Eden Hill Express Care where he is the Associate Medical Director. He is board certified in Emergency Medicine and is a Fellow in the American College of Emergency Physicians. |
Christy R. Skibicki, M.D.
Dr. Skibicki joined the staff of Eden Hill Express Care in July 2009 after serving her last four years of Active Duty as a physician in the Family Practice Clinic at Dover Air Force Base. Originally from Huntingdon Valley, PA, as a high school senior she was accepted into an exclusive early-acceptance 4-4 program at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA and Hahnemann University Medical School in Philadelphia, PA She graduated Magne Cum Laude from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA in 1998 with a double major in Biology and Psychology after her induction into Phi Beta Kappa. In 2002, she graduated from Medical College of Pennsylvania-Hahnemann University.Upon graduation from medical school, she moved to Florida and completed a three-year Active Duty residency in Family Medicine at Eglin Air Force Base. Dr. Skibicki completed Active Duty in June 2009 and will continue military service with the Air Force Reserves as a Major in the 512th at Dover AFB. Dr. Skibicki is board certified in Family Medicine and has an interest in sports medicine and aerospace/occupational medicine. She resides in Magnolia, DE with her husband and two children. |

Carole Breitkreitz BC-FNP
Carole Breitkreitz, was born and raised in North Jersey, she attended Felician College and graduated Summa Cum Laude with an Associate Degree in Nursing in 1986. In 1991 the Breitkreitz family relocated to Dover, Delaware. After devoting 5 years of nursing practice in the Critical Care Units at Bayhealth Medical Center, Kent campus she pursued her Bachelor's Degree at Wilmington University in 1998, and transferred to the recovery Room at Bayhealth Medical Center. In 2004 she assumed the role of Charge Nurse at the newly established Delaware Surgery Center and received national certification in Post Anesthesia Care Nursing. In 2005, she made the decision to expand her nursing role and experience and was accepted into the Family Nurse Practitioner Program at Wilmington University. Carole achieved Board Certification by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioner's in 2008. Carole has been married to her husband Gregory since 1988 and they have three daughters. |
Michelle L. Leite, FNP -BC
Michelle Leite graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1989 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science. She also completed the university ROTC program and was commissioned as an Air Force officer. Her first assignment was to Dover Air Force Base as an Air Transportation Officer. Michelle spent six years on active and reserve duty reaching the rank of captain. She returned to school and completed her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing graduating with high honors from Delaware State University in 1994. Michelle worked as a registered nurse for six years at Baptist Memorial Hospital in San Antonio, Texas while her husband completed his last military assignment. While in San Antonio, she earned a Master of Science Degree from University of Texas Health Science Center graduating suma cum laude from the Family Nurse Practitioner program in 2000. She and her family returned to Delaware that same year.
Prior to her employment with Express Care, Michelle Leite worked nearly seven years for Bayhealth as a nurse practitioner in both the Occupational Health and Walk-In clinics. Additionally, she spent several years employed as adjunct faculty for Delaware State University
in the role of clinical instructor. She is a member of the American Nurses Association, Delaware Nurses Association, American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society. Her community service includes volunteering for the Special Olympics program performing physical exams for participants lacking access and/or inability to afford health care.
In her free time, Michelle enjoys spending time with her family traveling, going to the beach, or watching a good movie. |
Sandi Voss, FNP-BC
Sandi Voss, FNP-BC is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner in Family Practice. She completed her undergraduate training at Wesley College, Master's at Widener University and Post Master's certification at Wilmington University. Ms. Voss has been a nurse practitioner for 16 years.
Ms.Voss resides in Smyrna with her two sons, Bo and Zach. Ms. Voss is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Ms. Voss is credentialed through the Ambulatory Care Department at Bayhealth Medical Center. |
Paula Watson, FNP-BC
Paula Watson was born in Jamaica but migrated to Ontario Canada with her family in her early teens. After graduating high school she attended Ryerson Polytechnic University where she obtained a bachelor of science in nursing. She later moved to Wilmington Delaware where she pursued a graduate degree in nursing graduating from Wilmington University as a Family nurse practitioner.
After graduation, she became board certified as a family Nurse practitioner and took up employment with Delaware Physician Association working eight years as their family nurse practitioner. She later worked for one year with Tri State Cardiology, doing in patient consultation at Christian, Wilmington and St. Francis hospitals. She currently holds a full time position as Clinical Coordinator at one of Take Care Health Systems Clinic. She currently resides in Townsend Delaware with her husband Rico Watson; they have three daughters and two grandchildren. |
John L. Sullivan, PA-C
John Sullivan obtained his Bachelors of Science degree from Drexel University and graduated from Medical College of Pennsylvania/Hahnemann University Physician Assistant Program. Prior to becoming a PA Mr. Sullivan worked as paramedic in Kent County, Delaware for a number of years. He also retired from the Delaware Air National Guard with a rank of Master Sergent. |
Kirsten Opalach, MHS, PA-C
Kirsten Opalach obtained her Associated Degree in Diagnostic medical sonography from Delaware Technical and Community College and worked as an ultrasound technician for a number of years. She then obtained her Bachelors Degree from Wilmington College and her Master of Health Science degree, Hahnemann Physician Assistant Program through Drexel University in 2007. Ms. Opalach's full time practice is as a family practice physician assistant at Total Care Physicians in Newark, Delaware. |
Nicole A. Fisher, PA-C
Nicole A. Fisher, PA-C is originally from Newark, Delaware. She graduated with Honors from Towson University in 1997 with an undergraduate degree in Pre-med and biology and completed her master's degree as a Physician Assistant at the Rutgers-UMDNJ program in New Jersey. She graduated as valedictorian of her class and has first-hand experience as both a dialysis technician and CPR instructor. She is in full time practice in the Surgical Associates of Eden Hill.

Pamela M. Manzi, PA-C
Pam Manzi graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a BS in Health Education and from the University of Delaware with a Master of Science in Physical Education before obtaining her Bachelor of Science, Physician Assistant from Hahnemann University. She has over 10 years experience in practice as a physician assistant in Emergency Departments throughout the State, including Bayhealth Medical Center, Beebe Medical Center and Christiana Medical Center.

Joseph M. Parise, D.O.
Dr. Parise obtained his BA in Biology from the State University of New York at Buffalo. After college he was a respiratory therapist and then graduated from the US Public Health Service Hospital Physicians Assistant program and worked as a PA in the Public Health and Veterans Administration Systems. In 1984 he graduated from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, and after serving an internship at Union Memorial Hospital, he served as General Medical Officer and Flight Surgeon in the U.S. Air Force, obtaining the rank of Major. In 1988 he started private practice and since 1990 has been in private practice in Dover with a speciality
of primary care medicine.
Dr. Parise is a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American College of Osteopathic Physicians and is a member of the Medical Society of Delaware and the Kent County Medical Society. |
Tina Dombrowski, MPAS, PA-C Tina Dombrowski obtained her Bachelors Degree in Nutrition and dietetics with a Minor in Biology and Psychology from the University of Delaware in 1999. She went on to obtain a Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Arcadia University in Glenside, PA, graduating on the Dean's List. She has practiced as a physicians assistant in a gastroenterology practice and long term care facility in Lewes, Delaware and more recently as a physicians assistant in Glascow Medical Aid Unit in Newark, Delaware, a walkin care facility.
